If you are anything like me, you have been looking for a good skin care routine that you can stick with. You don’t want anything too complicated but you want to have clear and healthy looking skin. Well, I have battled with issues with my skin since the 6th grade and I have tried so many products out on the market cheap and high-end. My skin is very combination and can switch between day-to-day and I also struggle with acne. So you guys can save some money and not go through so many products trying to find the perfect ones, I decided to share with you all my favorite skin care products.

To get started I want to say that I do not use each one of these products every day. However, I always take my makeup off, wash my face, and moisturizer. I use the other products I will be mentioning a few times a week, and when my skin is just really not doing the best. I have to say though I do love doing skin care when I get the free time too, so I make time for it quite often.

I will be mentioning the products in the order of how I would use them if I was going to do skin care. So, lets start off with what i would be using first…

The first product I would use is the Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Micellar Water . This product is my favorite way to remove all my makeup, or even if I didn’t wear makeup that day I use it to remove any oils or dirt that is on my face. I think this is the simplest way to remove eye makeup also. This product is not too harsh on your skin or eyes. I’ve never had any issues with this breaking me out either. This micellar water has been my favorite out of the ones I have tried and I prefer using it over makeup removing cloths. I do this before i wash my face so I have a clean slate to work with. What I like to do is get one to two cotton pads, pour a little on it, then swipe it all over my face until all my makeup is gone.

The next products I like to use is the Murad Acne Control Clarifying Cleanser and  Eco Tools charcoal sponge . My favorite way to cleanse my face is by using both of these. I love using this Eco Tools sponge more than I do a facial cleansing brush, and when it gets dirty I can just wash it out or replace it if I have had it a long time. The sponge is kinda like a makeup sponge but flat on one side. When wet it will get two to three times bigger than it original size (the sponge shown in the picture is wetted). While the face wash is decently expensive it is well worth it if you struggle with acne. I have went through so many bottles of this I couldn’t count them. It has come to the point now I just stock up. If you are wanting to splurge on one product for your skin care I would highly recommend it being this face wash. What I do is squeeze a small amount (a little goes a long way) of the face wash on the wet sponge and lather it up. Then, I use the sponge to wash my face. After I am done I will wash the sponge out and squeeze all the water out of it, so it will be ready for the next time I use it.

The next product I would use is the Elf Exfoliating Scrub. Elf is super cheap and has amazing skin care products (I also enjoy their face mists). I would highly recommend checking out their skin care line if you want some cheap products. I like this scrub because while being gentle I really feel like it cleans out my pores because the beads are so small. After I use this product my skin feels so soft. How I use it is I first wet my face and get a small amount in my hand, then I take my hands and really scrub my face, last I wash it all off.

The next product I like to use is the Freeman Oil Absorbing Mint + Lemon Clay Mask. This brand has a ton of good mask, but this one is by far my favorite. If your skin is acne prone or oily you have to give this a try. It also smells and feels so amazing on your skin. I can honestly say I can tell a difference in my skin when I use it. I smear a thin layer all over my face, wait for it to dry (you can feel when it is dry), then wash it off.

The last product I use in my skin care routine is First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. You can get the original in this one, but I use the grapefruit one because it smells amazing and is naturally infused with grapefruits. This product I have used for some time now and I really like it. It does not make me oily, but it makes my dry skin go away. My skin is very sensitive and I have had no issues with it. It is a very thick cream and this container will last you a very long time. I get a small amount and rub it in all over my face neck and chest.

And that completes my skin care routine. I hope this helps some of you all out and if you try any of the products I talked about please let me know how you liked them! Everyone’s skin is different, and different products work different on different people!
